This is before covid when you need to mail the physical photo to the office, and now you only need to upload a digital one online, and I am wondering if there's any requirement for that.
why would it be different just because its digital. Just go to a photo shop, ask for pr card photos with digital delivery.
Hi @legalfalcon i have another question. I called IRCC now and ask them if I can change employer while waiting on my pr confirmation and they said “yes” since my nomination has no employment restrictions. Im on bowp now, and my current employer assisted my pr application. and I would like to change employer now because they are not kind to employees. Im confused, please enlighten if i have to stay. Thank you so much

29 May - Confirmation Portal Email. Replied same day
5 June - Got email link to portal for uploading photo and confirming I am in Canada. Completed same day

I called IRCC after my work at 3 pm. Was on hold for 1hour 15 and agent said APPROVED!!! I will take the time to tell you my long journey.

- Received ITA in august CRS 475. At that time I had only 10 months CEC experience (due to IRCC calculation)
- I was eligibile for FSW and CEC in october. Sent my file and aor was october 10th.
- I add my foreign experience as at that time crs score was very high.
- medical was updated in november.
- at the same time, I was requested an additional doculemt RCMP.
- RCMP was upload on december 1st and until june 15th, the status was : we are reviewing the additional document..."
- gcms notes was ordered every 7 weeks (I ordered 3 times).
- Gcms notes extracted in april show review required since march. (missing duties).
- Webform sent mid april to explain why I couldnt have the letter of reference with duties (was a teacher working for the French government)
- 3 calls from april to june : file had not been touched since march.
- got an udpate on june 15th
- got an update on june 16th
- got an update on june 17th (in the night --though there was a bad gateway followed by no bad gateway
- wrote here on june 17th during my lunch to find out what updates could mean.
- after@legalfalcon answered, I called IRCC at 3.15 pm.
- was on hold more than 1 hour
- agent said file is approved
- email for portal should be received within 2/3 weeks, he said.
This is my story! With all the messages I sent, I became a super hero member. I wish you good luck.
