Stream ? Inland or Outland?@legalfalcon Hi, I had received an update in my application and when checked, there was a request letter with the following;
"We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents"
Documents requested were -imm5406e, Schedule A, Birth Certificate & Travel History
Does this mean it will still take time for approval? My AOR was Oct 15, 2020 and it's already been 8 months. Any ray of hope?
IRCC wants an updated info, based on which it will be ascertained if any additional PCCs or checks have to be done. If nothing has changed, then you need not worry.@legalfalcon Hi, I had received an update in my application and when checked, there was a request letter with the following;

@legalfalcon thanks, but how long from now can we expect the approval if nothing has changed?IRCC wants an updated info, based on which it will be ascertained if any additional PCCs or checks have to be done. If nothing has changed, then you need not worry.
Usually if there are no changes and no further documents are required, then a few days to a few weeks. However, it will depend on whether you are physically in Canada or not.@legalfalcon thanks, but how long from now can we expect the approval if nothing has changed?
@legalfalcon well, thanks for the info. I am now in India (just a vacation) and planning to get back once the rules ease up a lil' bit. But I haven't informed IRCC reg. this vacation plan. How would they know? I mean there was a signature field in the Schedule A form which wanted a signature with date and place and I did mention my current place (India). Do I have to update them once I land in Canada?Usually if there are no changes and no further documents are required, then a few days to a few weeks. This is all speculation. To know the status of your application, call IRCC, send a webform or rely on your GCMS notes.Hi all,
I was review required since March and my file wasn't touch until this Monday. Got an update: additional documents changed with an update " June 15th, we are reviewing your document". Previously it was my rcmp uploaded December 1st.
So June 15th got this update and then again a profile updated Wednesday. And one yesterday but followed by gateway, then ghost update 30 min later with no bad gateway.
Anyone already saw this kind of update while file is review required?
What could be the next step? @legalfalcon.
Thank you.
