Bad news: since I've received the DM email last week, they canceled my SOWP application, because 'why would you need it if you got approved for PR? // CIC'. I would need it because I expected to receive my SOWP in May, and they said I will have my PR interview in June. I have a job offer with starting date on May 6th, not sure what to do now... Since I'm also a student in my last semester, I could apply for the Post Graduate Work Permit and work while it's processing, but since CIC made a mistake and removed the 'Can work off campus' condition during study permit extension, I cannot do it anymore... I sent it for an amendment to add the 'Can work off campus' condition but got refused today. Called CIC - they have no idea why because I meet all requirements... They sent it for re-evaluation. PR approval was wonderful news, but now I'm about to lose a job opportunity due to the random actions of some people...

Yep. I wish I asked her more questions. At some point I ran out of questions before I was pumped up. I am pretty happy the security is done tho.

We got "decision made" showing up on ECAS on April 11, but it took a week for me to get SA and my partner to get the actual DM letter. AIP came a few days (or a day? Can't remember now) before DM showed up on ECAS. At least for us, it was a bit of a drawn-out process.

After seeing DM on both Sponsor and PA side on ECAS yesterday, today I gave a call to the IRCC and asked the agent what the decision was, since I didn't see it written anywhere. The agent checked and told me that I got Sponsorship Approval (SA) but couldn't give me details of the PA's status due to a required information release form. I am assuming PA's approved too, since she had just got AIP 2 days ago. Fingers crossed! Looking forward to receiving the DM letter!

My GCKey switched from “you may not hear from us for a while...” to “make sure to watch out for requests, etc” today. I had a ghost update on April 11th. Not sure how meaningful this is, but I’m just glad to see any change!

that means you reached 6 months mark since you submitted your app...
and ghost update possibly means your security check is being done...
Hi Jessica, it took us around 2 weeks to get AIP and DMs right after the Ghost Update, so fingers crossed for you, you should hopefully be getting good news shortly
