Does anyone know how I can check the status of my OWP by phone? The only information I got last night by phone was everything but the work permit, and when I chose the option for study/visitor/work visas, they needed an app# that starts with S/V/W(?) - my PR app starts with F. Is the work permit app# the same as the PR one, but starts with W?

I got OWP approval 5 days before medical exam approval, not sure if they are related or process by the same officer!

Your work permit application number starts W..... you have to link your PR application and work permit into your CIC account for you to see how's he immigration updated your application.
Received the work permit by mail today. Was approved on 22nd January. So it takes 7 days to arrive by post.

OWP Approved- 22nd January

Congratulation. Please help me to unzderstand my case. My OWP status changed on the january 28 to we are reviewing if you meet the eligibility requirement. Up to now no update. Is this normal? I see lot of people here who got approved few hour later after their status changed.

I'm October 4th applicant and still heard nothing. My job will only be held open for a couple more days so stressed is an understatement.
