My husband and I booked his medical exam for next week. The total cost including lab work and x-ray is $320. This seems high to us, but we’ve called a few clinics and it’s $320 at all the ones we’ve spoken to.

Anyone else in Manitoba? We are in Winnipeg.

I agree that it’s too much! Though I’m glad to hear prices here aren’t unusually high. I just keep reminding myself that this should be the last big expense for PR... right?!

I am in Victoria,BC. So I am not sure about Winnipeg but medical here is 390$ including all. Seems quite expensive but this is the only option we get in here. I wish they were cheaper like other places.

My wife is scheduled for MEd. exam tomorrow. We’ve waited for a week for the appointment and today she told me, she’s having spoting, meaning she will probably have her “period” tonight or tomorrow.
Can she have Medical exam during her period? Is urinalysis part of the medical?

yup.. urine test is part of it Can not do it if women on their period...
