The UCI number which is displayed is mine not for my spouse. ... Does this mean this is not a AOR1.... ??
The only way you can link the application, i think it to use the spouse UCI , your spouse should get the email, stating to link the application, try and see if you can link using the application number.

Thanks but , Question remains ""Is this an AOR """ we all have been waiting for???

Hi everyone, I’m sponsoring my husband, our application was also received October 11th. Fingers crossed for good news soon!

They have provided an application number,

The email which came to my mail reads as Title: Immigration , Refugees and Citizenship Canada : Information about XXXXXX ( Application number)

Dear Sponsor XX XX

This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on date XXXXXX on behalf of the following member

XXXX XXXX

Please be advised that CIC will contact you as soon as your application is reviewed . We trust that this information concerning your Application to Sponsor a member of the Family Class is helpful.

On top of this email they have UCI number and Application number mentioned .

I am not sure if this is a Aor or not ?????
It is an AOR. Sponsor got the email in our case as well. Use that file number and PA details to check it in ecas.

Successfully linked application.
Rec. oct 6, 2017
Aor. Nov 17, 2017

It says upload file. So for the nbi do I take a pic of it?
What was your trick for an application linking?

I'm confused I thought both the sponsor and principal applicant received AOR1 and it is the PA that links their account to the sponsor's account and not the sponsor linking to the PA account. The sample you posted looks like what the PA would get, assuming I understand the process correctly. I'm still waiting for my AOR1 so I guess I'll find out when I get it. I'm the sponsor.

looks like pretty much everyone who applied in october is getting their AOR in 6 weeks.

also, if you received an email with an application number and UCI, that is AOR as far as i know
