Nope! It seems that the Vienna VO either sends the pre-arrival email with the PPR or just a couple of days before. Hanging in there

@canadian2002 honestly I wish I had an idea of a estimated end date! At least we have these forums to read and see patterns for each of our VO’s. It helps calm nerves lol

Hey there! Yes, it's Vienna. According to the spreadsheet there seems to be two of us with BGC in process at Vienna VO... I think the other person is someone who applied in June or July. I'm not sure how much longer the BGC will take for us because it seems that they don't usually update that in Vienna and just go from BGC to DM to PPR in a matter of days. But I'll keep you updated when we hear something and hope yours will start asap!!

Hi guys well this is my timeline so far.
Not so familiar with the abbreviations but here goes:
Application received by IRCC in Mississauga: 5/10/17
Sponsor approval: 21/11/17
Medical request: 22/11/17
Police clearance and Schedule A (background check): 24/11/17
Sent to Visa office Mexico: 2/1/18

Now just waiting.

Your timeline is almost similar with my timeline. Hope everyone will get the good news at the soonest possible time.

I just received a letter (AOR) from MIDI in the mail today. Fingers crossed!

Generally MIDI makes their final decision within 14-15 days from AOR date, however they are writing about 25 days. So, hopefully you will get CSQ very soon. Keep smiling!

what exactly is the AOR2?

AOR2 is the acknowledge of receipt from your local visa office, which you should get after the file transfer from federal to your local visa office.

I noticed some received requests the next day from Mississagua.

I recieved the pre arrival services email more than a month ago now, so it seems based on other forum members my wait could go on for a few more months.

really? i have heard that when you get pre-arrival letter, then you usually get DM very soon after. at least i have seen that trend from London VO

Congratulations! Nice to hear that another October applicant has received the pre-arrival invitation.
Sending pre-arrival invitation is the closest step of the making final decision. Should not ask further documents. But who knows how VO is thinking!

How long does it take for a passport request after medical exam has been approved? we are applying as outlander

You may still have a way to go..

That time is typically (not always) the longest you will wait. Next steps (if you haven't had already) would be the file transfer email, AOR, BGC in progress then passport request/DM.

Hi, my husband’s background check hasn’t started yet, but they’ve sent the pre-arrival invitation on february 13 and he received an email notifying that he has a mail in gckey.
