Hello everyone,
I'm new to this thread. I thought it was only the Acrra Visa office that was slow! I'm still waiting on my husband's PPR. Can someone tell me if this forum has a spreadsheet for 2016 applicants please?

@waitingInTO I used to follow this thread until I realized I was giving myself false hopes. Its quiet now because October applicants from most countries have been processed while we are waiting for AVO to be done with August.

My husband applied on October 2016, on November the sponsorship was approved. On January we were notified that our app was being checked. Ever since I didn't get any news until July when they asked me for new police records translated. I thought that was almost it but nothing happened until last week (September 15 2017) I received an email asking for my passport and photos and on my online app says DECISION MADE. I submitted my passpprt last friday (September 22) and I'm just waiting for an answer ( if someone knows how long does it take to get my passport back, I would appreciate an answer).
Anyways, so far its been over a year since we decided to apply, it's being the hardest time for both of us as a couple, we are just in crazy need to finally settle down and live our marriage like a normal couple (no distance).
Hope you guys have the same luck or even better than mine, plenty of patience and love for everybody ❤

Happy for you that your wait is almost over! I don't know when your passport might come back, hopefully soon so you can make up for lost time!

I think usually they either extend the validity of the medical results or they will ask you to redo the exam. I think you have to just wait to get a request to redo the medical. If you have not heard from them to redo, they may have automatically extended the medical results.

My partner's medical results were extended but they never sent us notification of this. The only way we knew was when we saw it in the GCMS notes.

It's been just over 100 days and still no PR card in the mail! Landed in August. Anyone else having this problem? Can't seem to get anyone on the phone on the CIC help line.

Update: I finally got through to the CIC call line (I just tried every possible number combination before finally getting someone on the line, after a 41 minute wait). The border guard when we landed never updated my wifes new address so her PR card has been sitting on hold for the entire time ready to mail! We never received any emails or phone calls and I was unable to link anything to do with the card on our CIC account that showed an address needing updating... just a tip for others!
