Just got an e-mail from CiC asking for the following:

- RPRF: Pay the Right of Permanent Residence fee
- Client Information: Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Advisory on Marriages.
- Client Information: Receipt of information from client Valid Certificate of Selection from Quebec (CSQ).
- Police Certificate: Valid police certificate from Japan

Now, what is the PSA) Advisory on Marriages ?? Is that the marriage certificate? it was already in the application.
I am still waiting for my CSQ and her japan police certificate.y

Anyone knows?
Advisory on Marriages is a document stating that you are legally married to your husband/wife. Just request for a CENOMAR. If you are married, PSA will give you the Advisory on Marriages.

Oh and by the way, Marriage Certificate and Advisory on Marriages are different.

I guess it depends on the area where your wife will request the AOM. Other people here said that they were able to get it within that day but here in my city, they will ask you to come back 3 days after you requested it.

Hello everyone I am new in this forum.
I just want to share the process of my family sponsorship application:
I am from Ecuador and my husband Canadian from Quebec. We hired a consultan to start the process since I live in Ecuador, sometimes sending documents takes a lot of time to deliver it.
My lawyer advised us to send everything at once! (medical exams, criminal record and birth certificated all already apostille and traducted by a credited translator, and we also paid all fees for the application+ the proof of our relationship) all of this at once!

We sent our application to the CIC on October 5,2016 and by October 13, 2016 the CIC sent as a letter saying they have received our application.
By November 03,2016 they sent us another letter saying the started processing our application.
By November 14,2016 we got another letter saying my husband got approve to be my sponsor. and also CIC forwarded my case to the visa office in Mexico.
By December 5,2016 we submit an undertaking application to the province of Quebec (MIDI). our lawyer send it.
January 19,2017 they started reviewing my application for the PR card.
And February 3,2017 the MIDI sent a correspondence to my husband saying that I got accepted and that now we have to wait for the Visa Office in Mexico for the final step. (in that correspondence shows I got my selection card and that I can have free French classes.
Well that is all so far. I don't know how long it will take the visa office in Mexico to get this done!

I also just got DM on ECAS! When I click on it for more details, the notes don't say anything about it, and GCKey still hasn't changed anything and shows "Final Decision: Not started". From other applicant's posts, it sounds like that inconsistency is quite normal. I'm excited about the next steps though! :D

I just got my CSQ for my wife! Do anyone knows if I can apply for her health card in Qc now or I still have to wait for the PR first?

I am in the same situation as you! I was actually just about to make a post asking if anyone else here had this "problem". MyCIC shows my background check as being "In Progress", also.

How long was your background check in progress if you don't mind me asking?

Mine was in progress a little over two weeks before getting DM, but it can vary quite a bit.
