Wow! US applicants sometimes received theirs in less than 6 months! Congratulations in advance! :D

Were you able to ask for your UCI when you called? Anyway, I mentioned several combinations to you, right? Well, what worked for me was that I used the Family Name, Birthday, Place of Birth option, and I entered all info needed including Place of Birth and Passport info. If you were born in the US, what worked for others was to enter the State of birth. Good luck. :)

Hey, sadly I was unable to link my account and got locked out trying after 5 attempts. I followed your instructions and the email the CIC Rep emailed to me about what to do. I entered it all perfectly... guess I'll try my luck again tomorrow.

Hi Brooke

It took a few days after the SA for me to be able to log in. I too was locked out, gave it a couple days then it magically worked.

Best of luck

ML

Hi !

I just got my letter saying I am eligible to be a sponsor.

But one thing is tickling me.

We filled papers for OUTLAND visa. I sent my envelope written for OUTLAND on it.

But on on the letter, it is written that it has been forwarded to the visa office in CPC-Ottawa...

My wife is from Japan. And as far as I know, it should have been sent to the manilla office...

Did they make a mistake or It is just the standard procedure ?

Thank you.

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing fine...I got an e-mail for CIC advising that I am eligible to sponsor my husband on November 21, 2016 and that his Application will be sent to Port of Spain to process on his end...On November 28, 2016 CIC website has "we started processing your application" when he log in with the Application Number. However, I dont see that when I log in with the UCI number. My husband did not received an email like i did stating that they started processing his paper...We sent our application in on October 21, 2016.

Should he be expecting anything in an e-mail form or regular mail from CIC or the next step is just to sit back and wait a few months until CIC do their part.

Thanks Everyone and Goodluck too all of you!

Congratulations!! the most important thing is your part was approved so you got the email. Not sure if they will send an email to your husband but give it a few days and check again.....and now the waiting game begins!! My visa office is POS as well ....have you looked at the posts from the Port Of Spain thread?
