I called CIC to see if someone could help me. It was about a 26 minute hold, but I got a very nice lady that was very helpful.
According to her I had no notes or flags on my file so I should have recieved something. She sent a message requesting an update to be emailed to me from the person handling my application. I didn't even know you could do that haha. **fingers crossed**

Am sure u will get SA today. The seem to send it in batches

Plz Help me understand this.

I sent in my application and after a week i was able to link it to mycic and mycic app status changed to Application status not available, Pls try again later.
We i saw this i went to see my postal box and found they have returned my application postal box of my wife wasn't there. I wrote one at the post office and sent it back from they and they recieved the appliaction the next day.
So i wondering, are they going to update mycic with the XF00 file or they are goint to create a new new and i have to search and link it agin???

I completely understand, we actually did the reverse process of this (Canadian spouse immigrating to US) last decade so apparently we didn't learn our lesson :

We were initially doing that still have the packet haha but with all this weird us stuff going on we decided we would come here we've been together 7 yrs and lived apart for the entire time. So we're just ready to be together

Hi Everyone. So I have called CIC today again regarding my file. I explained to the lady that they had to change my UCI and Application number during the process. So she told me that the 27 days was from the time they send me the second email confirming they have changed my UCI and application number and that would be December.14/2016. I told her can you send me an email confirming what she said to me and her reply was NO. So I told her because of a mistake someone made in processing my file I have to wait longer yet you can't send me an email confirming it? Cut the story short she decided to check my file and put me on hold. After she came back she said my application for sponsorship has been approved and now they are reviewing the eligibility for my wife's permanent residence application and that I have to wait for the letter confirming that. I am relieved that their mistake didn't delay my application and I will be waiting for the SA email. I was approved 2 days ago.

any news on sa for the waiting people which have had AOR on 14 Nov and before even after who applied on october
seems only the agent who had cases on 14 taking longer time than his friends

Hi! Any 1st week October applicant who hasn't received their AOR yet? What is the average time to receive the AOR from app filing for October applicants? Thank you!

i myself have mycic linked and Ecase and neither got AOR or anything from them just found out is received and in ecase and review in progress in my cic and application number starts with F

there are few applicants about 5 or 6 from October waiting the SA

i'm the applicant but asked my wife she got nothing until now

in ecase
with sponsor name you get all data or applicant name to get applicant data only
for My Cic try using passport info only and birth data blank and plus family name capitals or all name capitals as birth place can not be sure what they wrote city and province or city only but passport have only one answer so hope you best in all and getting good news today and next week

Nothing on ECAS yet. Yes, I've linked my app already 7 days after filing. I hope we receive our AORs soon enough. Thank you.

welcome yes lets hope they send something fast to us but in this situation should get SA directly not AOR
