You can put his Canadian address, as he is residing in Canada during his visit. I put my Canadian address and had no problems getting an extension. CIC doesn't care whether you're residing in Canada or not, only CSBA cares. He may also put his job down, and add an additional paper stating it's a US job, not Canadian. You don't need to put his UCI at all either. Usually each person only has one number (my UCI on my extension was the same as the one I got for my PR app) but maybe there are mistakes. You don't need to put it. The questions aren't a trap, just be honest and explain things on a separate piece of paper if you think it needs more explanation.graham_crackers said:Thank you!
Is anyone else applying to extend a visitor visa for their visiting spouse? We are in the process of applying but some of these questions feel like... a trap? They ask for his residential address but will only allow Canadian addresses since he is extending a visitor visa - his real residence is in the US. He has a job, but he does not work in Canada. They ask for his UCI at the top but he has two - one was given on his last entry and one was given for his permanent resident application. Has anyone done this yet?
