Hello everybody
my application was received on 31/OCT/2016. Get my AOR on 17/NOV/2016...my worry is: the status of "Review of eligibility" on MyCic still not started.... is that normal ???

For my applic, my review of eligibility on myCIC didnt start until after i got SA

My CIC tip hope it will help

Type Principal applicant name full as it shows in your passport the Family name should be all in Capital Letters
FAMILY NAME
First Name Second Name Third Name (as applicable)
Date of birth

Leave place of birth blank ( city and country )

fill passport data correctly
number issue and expiry and country of passport

intended province
and city of immigration as your application
marital status
number can use 2 if no any kids for applicant and spouse

the most fact is passport data only with last name in capital letters worked for me very well hope it helps you all
about E case it works only with application number as i tried fees receipt number it never works
if you check with sponsor data will give you details of sponsorship application and principal applicant plus ability to edit address of sponsor
if use data of applicant will show only data of applicant

There are stages that the app goes through. It only means that the Sponsor Approval/Eligibility has not started yet. Maybe they will work on it on Monday, given that today is the weekend.

Hello Everyone!

Need your help to apply online for TRV for my wife.
we applied paper application in October and it got rejected.
planning to reapply online application this time.
we got married in march this year and applied for spouse PR in august in which we already approved for first stage(SA).
Now about TRV online application what supporting document i should provide?
My wife has no work history and she never travelled outside India.
My wife doesn't have any property or anything like that on her name.
So I am not really sure what other documents i can provide for her application.
Anybody in the same situation and got approved for TRV?
Really really need your help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My husband has had to get a new phone # then what we put on the application. He is the sponsored, do we need to contact CIC for a change for him or would it be only if my info changed?

any changes should be sent to them as soon as possible about spouse or sponsor , tell them by contact us in website

Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not Started
Final decision: Not Started

And ECAS looks like

Permanent Residence Application Status: In Process
1. We received your application for permanent residence on October 24, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

I have received AOR1 but am still waiting on SA. Does this seem right? I'm trying not to worry but I am seeing others pass me in the spreadsheet and it's hard not to :-[

Before apply again should consider why was first application refused and collect what improve your application before apply or see lawyer otherwise if do same documents will get rejected based on first application as sa not mean granted for tourists visa as pr is intention to immigrate and apply for visit which they want know that you have reasons to not immigrate so is contradicted

Is anyone else applying to extend a visitor visa for their visiting spouse? We are in the process of applying but some of these questions feel like... a trap? They ask for his residential address but will only allow Canadian addresses since he is extending a visitor visa - his real residence is in the US. He has a job, but he does not work in Canada. They ask for his UCI at the top but he has two - one was given on his last entry and one was given for his permanent resident application. Has anyone done this yet?

ok so we have a request from CIC to send a document which was our marriage certificate.
Our marriage License was sent because that is what the county is saying is our official document and serves as our certificate with the sealed stamp.
Should I attach a letter stating that this is the official document? and the contact info to the county office? or what do you think is the best plan of action.
