Was just able to link my application to MyCIC! SO RELIEVED! Oct 11 applicant :)

application/profile status open and meds in process

Looking forward to AOR and SA!

Hello!

Quick inquiry! When I linked to MyCIC I see that I have a permanent application number, i.e. there is no "X" in front of it, I see in some other places people say that this doubles as AOR. Does anyone know if this is accurate? We have not yet received an AOR email.

Hi! I've been trying every day to link and was finally able to today! I put in my information (name and DOB) and then my city of birth and country of birth, and then where i intend to live in Canada. I put 2 as the number of people in application, and finally it worked!

Something to note is that they put my middle name as part of my first name, so maybe that could be your case too!

i dont know what ECAS is really, but just another way to track? I think it is w the sponsors info, not the applicants. https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

i was able to link my app via gckey. have not recieved sa. do I also link to ECAS? or do I have to wait till sa?
what is the difference between the gckey and the ecas?

So you put the sponsor info or sponsored person? And you put 2 when you only sponse your wife?

no, unfortunately... neither ecas nor mycic. Will keep trying i guess.
Just curious, did you use the sponsor's details or the sponsored person's details?

Try with different combination.
Sponcered person (Principle applicant).

Dears,
for out land applications
Could some one tell me how many photos of (50MMx70MM) of the sponsored are needed please?
Do we need to to in include photos of the sponsor?
if the children are Canadian do we have to include their photos too?
If I am sending the package via DHL which address should I send to?

Again appreciate any help

Here is the link for all the addresses, you'll want to use the one for courier services.

And for pictures, it depends on your region. See your region specific guide for instructions on photos.
