I had another question (sorry!) I don't really know the process, I sent the application to Mississauga. Once it's been received and the sponsor approved, does it stay it Mississauga? If not how do I know which visa office will get it? I am intending on living in Kitchener.

Oh ok, that's really lucky. We are both in the UK, my husband has Canadian dual citizenship and is planning to move back once I get approved for a PR so I am a little worried that is going to cause a delay/decline but looking at the acceptance he meets it all, we also have a job offer and affidavit that we will be living with his parents until we can get a mortgage. I am hoping it won't take the full 14 months to process!

I'm sure you will be fine, if you meet all the requirements there is no reason for a decline It's hard not to worry about everything with this process though!

Can I submit a passport for PR visa stamping in Canada if my wife is on TRV with me here in canada as she might have to travel to india just to send her passport.

We were able to log in on the sponsor side with the UCI and on the applicant side with the application number

Nothing yet, neither mycic nor ecas spit out anything... My hubby, sponsor, does not have a UCI no., so I guess we'll have to wait for AOR (hope ti comes!)

Got my fingers crossed for you! I couldn't see anything on Ecas until after SA but keep trying mycic since you can use information you put on the forms for that one

1) Does anyone know when they send the passport request how long you have to produce it?

2) Under the family class will I need to pay the $490 for the right of residency?

Every time I look online I keep finding more things I'm unsure of!

The passport request is only for countries that require a visa so as you're from the UK you won't need to send yours

Yes you will need to pay it but you don't have to pay it upfront, you can wait until your application id approved first but it will cause a delay if they have to ask for it so i paid upfront with the other fees

So do you get something to keep on you to show you can live and work?

Oh pants, didn't realise it could cause a delay, what's the best thing to do now, shall I just wait until they ask for it as they received everything else today or can I send it once the SA comes through using the cic website and just send the receipt?
