Someone on another thread mentioned getting the photo taken and then cutting it to the correct dimensions yourself, would that work? He lives in the boonies and we really want to have our application submitted before the end of the month.

if the person taking the photo will give that to you and stamped i dont see why not but im not entirely sure

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but did use it a bit whilst completing my forms! I sent my application yesterday from the UK, we're very nervous on how long it's going to take as it says 14 months at the moment. Bit of background my husband and I both live in the UK but he has dual nationality, he doesn't want to go back until I get my PR so hopefully it doesn't take long!

From what I've seen 5-6 months is par but it depends on how fast they want to be. Good luck we sent ours yesterday

My application
1- Received to CIC on 25 August 2016. (My sponsee received letter from IRCC on 27 Sep 2016 telling that she met the requirements for sponsorship and my PR application sent to Abu Dhabi visa office ) what is mean ?
2- start processing on 7th oct 2016
3- medical results received

I m unable to link my app to CIC online, I fed up with trying and always message come no application found !?

Any advice how I can link it , I'm writing the correct information but still same issue !!

By the way, I can see that mycic has an option of linking the app to mycic - it would be my account, though,as my hubby does not have one (he is Canadian, no UCI), but I noticed you talked about linking your app to ECAS?? how does that work?

I was able to link mine 8 days after they received it, but it's all about getting that lucky combination! I was trying for a few days before that as you only get 5 attempts in 1 day

Quick Question - When did you pay your fees? Right before you sent in your application? I know you need to include proof that they are paid, just not sure how far in advance I should do it. TIA!
