Good luck to all October 2016 applicant!! Wish you a speedy process time ;)

From an October 2015 applicant who now live happy with his wife 8) 8)

Good October's people

I'm sponsoring my husband who is a US citizen and lives in the US. We finished filling out our application but my husband has a criminal record. He has a charge from 8 years ago. He did indicate that on his background declaration form and he explained what happened and that all charges were dropped. Even though the charges were dropped of course it still shows up on his police check. We were wondering if we should fill out the criminal rehabilitation application or if we should just hope for the best and pray they don't refuse our application. The rehabilitation application is either $200 or $1000 depending on the crime committed and in his case we would have to pay $1000. It says that application generally takes about a year to be processed. If we decide to fill out that form and send it in with our sponsorship application would that delay our processing time?

Any suggestions?

Good luck for all October 2016 applicant

Hi guys!!

Will be sending my application in less than a week!!

I have a question though,

Is there a possibility that we can just directly drop the package off or do we have to actually mail them?

and the sponsor (my husband) is sending a copy of our marriage certificate, do I have to include one in mine as well?

Thank youuu!!! :D

No CPC-Mississauga does not allow drop-offs. Send it via courier so you get a signature from the person who accepted the delivery in the mail room..
