I feel your pain at least you got to see your husband, I haven't seen mine in almost 8 months and it gets harder when you have small children. POS seems to be one of those VO's that don't update when in fact they are working on your documents. So be strong,stay positive and have faith!

Hi October Applicants, I just wanted to let you know that I was anxious yesterday and was going through a rough time since my husband left for his home country. So, I e-mail the Port of Spain office regarding the status of my Husband file. They were kind enough to reply to me saying:

This refers to your E-mail below.

Your husband’s file is at the initial stages of processing. We will advise him of the next steps.

In my ecas, in the part of sponsor nothing has changed and is still in process but in the sponsored person part a line has added medical results has been recieved.
Does it have any meaning that I will be approved soon ?

In you mycic ...will give you an idea if your application is near approval
if your background check goes in process that is the final phase ...if your
a October applicant might be another 3 to 6 months wait

Yes I am an October applicant but up to now I have not got approved as sponsor , I mean that this changing may be mean that sonsorship approval is near.
In mycic the medical was passed in the first 2 weeks of applying , but noting was written in ecas about medical. I was just happy to make me hopeful for that.

It only changed to in progress on myCIC yesterday I think (last looked on the 4th). I have NEXUS and my wife has been pre-approved (waiting on interview), so not sure if that helped expedite the process.
