Hi Friends

I have question.

Does anyone know that if marriage ceremony performed in Arya Samaj and marriage certificate from Arya Samaj is consider valid by CIC or High Commission of New Delhi ?

Is marriage certificate issue by Arya Samaj Mandir/temple is enough to submit for spousal application for PR ?

Let me know.

No it's not.
You have to get the Legal Indian Marriage Certificate in English for submitting a spousal application. To get that one you would need the Arya Samaj certificate.

Irrespective of the country, put it in the order of the checklist.

There is a General Checklist common to all and then there is a country-wise specific checklist.

My Q here is that where do I place that checklist (in what order) in my entire bundle?

Order doesn't matter, CIC will probably reorganize it anyway. As long as you have everything needed then you should be good to go

For AOR, usually it comes in around one month after ur application was recieved. So just hang on tight,

Time change depends on the visa Office that will process your app. Since ur from Sri Lanka , i think it should be Singapore.
If this would soothe ur nerves- Singapore used to be 22 months processing period.
U can check out the new processing period on CIC website.

I put my check list at the very front of my bundle under my payment receipt

It takes about 8 weeks to receive AOR. For some people it can take longer.

Did anyones status under permanent residency on ecas switch from 'application received' to 'in process' before that got sponsorship approval?

I got my SA and its still showing received, not in process under the permanent resident part :'(

This is my first time to inquire about my application. I called today and the agent is very kind he told me that I am already approved as sponsor. I didnt receive any AOR and the agent put note on my file that I am waiting for a hard copy of sponsorship approval. :) me and needhimback has the same situation I sponsored my X 10yrs ago. To you my friend needhimback its your turn now.

Hi All...

My husband got his COPR today! We are freaking out slightly as we did not expect it for several months and had hoped to move this time next year. Our son doesn't even have his citizenship (certificate) yet!

Our application took less than 4 months total. :o

Hoping some others got good news today!
