My husband got his COPR today! We are freaking out slightly as we did not expect it for several months and had hoped to move this time next year. Our son doesn't even have his citizenship (certificate) yet!

Our application took less than 4 months total.

Hoping some others got good news today!

That's so awesome congrats Kate! We are still keeping fingers crossed to get ours around 6 months

Yep. They received our application on 18-12-2015 but they start working on it on 12-01-2016. I called them yesterday and they said to me that everything was good. Just matter of time before i got all the paperwork by mail . Everything work fine so far

I am also a October applicant. Sent in our csq papers 2 weeks ago and my cc was charged only yesterday. Hoping to get it by end of next week

if your credit card is charged does it mean you are approved for the csq?
my cc was charged on the 19th of january but each time i call they said my application has not been registered in their system so cant locate me.
they received my application on the 6th of january 2016.

The first thing they do is charge you. So even if they deny one's application or require more info, they'll still keep the money. CC being charged is just a sign that they've started working on the file.

I have a quick question; Do you recall what was the regular processing time for your vo before they have changed it all to 17 months ??

Yes it is a good sign. around 10 days later your CSQ might be made and in 2 weeks or 15 days you might get it.It is a good sign since if your file is not complete they return your documents first until you complete all requirements.

Sorry I've been MIA the last little bit. Work, work, work...
Congrats to all those getting good news.
No updates from us yet. Still waiting (impatiently) for SA. They had requested a doc which we sent back to them way back on Jan 4/5. We got confirmation they received the doc but nothing since. Any idea on how long afterwards SA can take? I've been checking our application almost daily online...
