Irrespective of the country, put it in the order of the checklist.canadafsw2015 said:Hello all
Finally, I've just sent out the application by courier today (15 Jan). Should reach Mississauga by Monday 18 Jan due to weekend. *fingers crossed* ;D
Just a quick question - In what order does one put the India Information guide and document checklist?
Cheers!

Got AOR by email today acknowledging receipt of application on 13.10.2015 and given an application number.
Awaiting SA now. Called CIC to enquire about the application, sent followup letters to CIC and Local MP.
Probably one of them worked and we got the AOR..

I'd assume the marriage would have to been deemed legal by a government body for Canada to honour it.makpan said:Hi Friends
I have question.
Does anyone know that if marriage ceremony performed in Arya Samaj and marriage certificate from Arya Samaj is consider valid by CIC or High Commission of New Delhi ?
Is marriage certificate issue by Arya Samaj Mandir/temple is enough to submit for spousal application for PR ?
Let me know.
Thanks. It took only two days after speaking to MP's office. Probably it is a coincidence.Anxiouswifey said:Congrats!!
How long after contacting your member of parliament did it take for the AOR to arrive??
Congratulations!faisalmohamed said:SA Letter Received!
Kind of my fault actually, it's been sitting in the mailbox for over 3 weeks according to the date listed on the paper ;D
I already knew I had the SA because when I called in a while back the agent told me I was good to go and my application was heading off to Singapore (Now that I think of it the "We have starting processing your application" on the PR side could possibly be AOR2, still not 100 percent sure about that though).
With that being said... It's still pretty nice to have the physical paper in hand. Never had gotten an email from them and I was checking my junk/spam folder religiously
So I'm definitely pretty darn happy, now time to see what the Singapore timeline looks like!
