Hi Guys
i want to share my sponsorship application with you
Application received on 21 Oct.2015
AOR received on 27 Oct. 2015
SA received on 3 Nov. 2015

I think i broke the record here looool
so i have three questions :
1- how long it would take to get the CSQ ?
2- until now i can't log in to CIC application status, can anyone help?
3- is it really gonna take 2 years in Amman,Jordan? or this is the max processing times?

Note: i omitted the rep. papers so don't afraid if you did that too.

Thanks Best wishes for all ,,,

Lucky you i am still waiting for AOR and they got the package Oct 7!!!

ok now am starting to give in the theory that says since the new government came. a hold is being put on all immigration cases to process the 25000 cases for syrian refugees! !! did anyone get any update since November 4th ??

if you see the sept thread, people are still getting SA past Nov 4.
what concerns me is people are either not reporting or not getting AOR in past few days

They've said that the refugee applicants will not affect other applicants trying to immigrate; they're handing it with different personnel.

Don't forget, too, that in the time period that October applicants submitted, Thanksgiving and a Federal Election took place. Tack on a few extra days to compensate for that brief hiatus from those dates, and you're still on target.

Don't give up hope, yet! It'll happen!

this could be true, I also read something about Cic system is encountering a glitch and seems to be not sending automatic emails for AOR but for sure if you keep checking your ecas daily with the receipt number you can catch this. we can only wait and see

I guess it makes sense as well we shall see ::)

I keep trying to check by using receipt number and my sponsors last name and dob but it never finds our application. Wondering if I am doing something wrong. Our app was received October 13th sent fed ex.
Is there a way to use my medical scan to check?

no matter what you do, you will never see your status unless and until cic issues you an AOR,
its a different story if they issued an AOR but you never received it in any form (e-mail/mail)
In this case you can use different methods to check your status.
Looking at your file received its too early for you to that... your AOR will come on Dec 1st or Dec 2nd.
till then pop open a beer and chillax 8)
:P :P

It's still too early- they are working on September 2015 applications, it looks like you and I are close in timelines

I am not checking now at all until December 2015, doing the chillaxing thing!!

If you sent it October 13th, then I'm going to assume you'll get AOR next week or the week after. I'd feel more confident about saying what the average is this time of year, but the September and October data on the 2015 Outland Applicants (I have linked in my signature) seems to really lacking. I wonder why that is? It's infinitely useful. When I applied in May, the average was about 35-40 days. You'd also be able to tell when people who applied ahead of you received AOR.

Don't stress! (Easier said than done, right?)

You're still well within the normal time it takes for people to see AOR. If you were around 60 days of waiting, then I'd be concerned. (You also would likely have already received your application back in the mail if anything was missing.)

SA usually comes another 35-40 days after AOR, then files are transferred to secondary VOs. Not all VOs give AOR2 (Ottawa being one of them). After that is the long wait where you cling to the forums for sanity; how long until you see PR is based on your specific VO. Welcome to the club! :P

So if you receive your AOR before you receive SA does that mean you are approved ??? Or is receiving the SA the final

If that's the case i rather get my SA first, because that will tell me that Ive made it as a sponsor ???

You'll get AOR first. Then you will wait a month or so after that before you get SA. Getting an AOR does not mean you get SA, but if you meet all the qualifications with no red flags don't worry about being approved as a sponsor. The only issue may be is if you forgot to include something in your application. :)

Like Krishnalynn said, SA comes after AOR.

The process is as follows:

1. Send in your application

2. AOR - comes approx. 30 days after application arrives in Mississauga

3. SA - comes approx. 30 days after AOR. Your file will then be sent to your secondary VO.

4. AOR2 - comes a few days to a few weeks after SA once your application arrives at the new VO; note that not all secondary VOs do AOR2. If you don't receive AOR2, there's nothing that's gone wrong.

5. Passport Request. Note that visa-exempt countries will not have Passport Requests (PPR); check threads with your specific VO to learn if yours is one of them. You will be contacted for your PP if it is required.

6. DM or Decision Made months after SA. Dance and celebrate that you've made it.

7. Receive COPR in the mail a few days to weeks after DM, which allows you to land in Canada.

8. Land in Canada with COPR in hand.

9. Get SIN number (usually at the same place you land), get a job, learn what your province requires for health coverage, and live long and prosper! You can even apply for citizenship after a few years.

SA is almost always approved. I haven't heard a single person in the last year I've been on these forums who hasn't been approved.

DM also has high success numbers. I've only heard of a handful of people who weren't approved.
