I am confused first of all,
1. AINP nomination is valid for six month , so why you applied for PNP PR in oct which is only 2 months before its expiry , when its known that AOR nearly taking 3 months ?
- I was only able to complete my documents by then - I took all my police clearance to 3 different countries.

2. Why your work permit extension is linked to you PR ( AINP) nomination ? if its a work permit extension then it has nothing to do with your PR application as its based on what documents you provided for ur extension process...
- I do not know - that is what the CIC rep told me.

My suggestion , please raise a special case inquiry for your work permit only and don't link anything about PR . Simply you should get the work permit extension first.
- Where and how to do this? Inform my employer and see what they could do?
- When I receive my AINP cert too, they advised me that I could only renew my work permit if it is within 3 months prior expiry.

Thank you for your reply.

Hey guys,

I am happy to read this post because I am becoming worried about my NB PNP application. I received my nomination on October 23rd and still nothing from the Federal government. I though that at this stage I would alread have received it but it is not the case yet.

I will also update you as soon as I receive something.... I am also thinking about sending an email to CIC in Sydney, NS but since we are all in the same boat, I believe it will be a waste of time. Well, we will see in a few weeks.

Was just going through the CEC side Forum and a lot of OCT guys are getting their AOR. Only people who applied for CEC based PR till 20th OCT will be getting an AOR as CEC Quota of 8000 is filled.

Lets hope once they get AOR, we PNP guys get some update. I just sent a mail to Manitoba province if they know why the delay is happenning. Thinking of visiting their office in March if nothing happens by then. This wait is becoming too much torture for me.

CEC October 2014 applicants received their AOR today...same as my timeline, Oct 2 2014 received by CIO NS and Dec 16 2014 Bank Draft encashed...We hope for the PNP applicants soon....good vibes.. :)....
check the CEC October 2014 applicants forum...

Yes, good for CEC candidates. I think we should wait to see if PNP candidates from September are getting their AOR numbers so it will be an indication for us (as October candidates) that it is moving. I have not seen any changes on other forums regarding PNP candidates.

I saw on so many thread people who applied for work permit extension saying its put on hold due to there PR process /Status ....How come its possible or the Pr process get linked to work permits too ? Any one having such kind of personal exp ?

Its good now CEC people getting AOR , hope so PNP guys also start getting it...

They charged me 550 dollars last week :) . but still no AOR . :'(

It takes 7 - 16 days and in some cases longer to get AOR. When was your application received ?

First October applicant with AOR on this forum . AINP October 6th http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pnp-pr-application-september-2014-applicants-t249242.510.html

Looks like there's motion on PNP applications again (besides the catch up on OPNPs)
