Thanks a lot @ vegas indian and @ Mbgirlfriend for the response..But my OPNP expired on march 2nd,2015.Do the ontario province still support for my closed work permit..Or should i reapply my OPNP again just in case i didnt get my AOR on time..??

OPNP will give you an supporting letter for applying closed work permit. Depends on what kind of conditions your OPNP letter was issued. I have somewhat similar situation like yours and have contacted MPNP and they were ready to issue me a support letter, and wanted me to contact 2 months before the expiry of my WP. Hopefully you will get AOR by then, so you would be able to apply either open or closed permit as per your requirement.

Thanks a lot for the info tenkrun 10..Bit relaxed..My Credit Card charged on Jan 9th,2015>does that mean i am not missing any documents for the AOR approval...Please correct if i am wrong...And should i sent my job offer letter also for my closed work permit??

Process has changed for closed work permit, I guess your comapny would need to apply IMM 5802 and pay 230$ fees for employer compliance fee. Things have changed since Feb 2015.

Yes, even if it expires, contact your OPNP for a reference letter. Your OPNP expires for applying to CIC. If you see the letter, it says the last date to Apply to CIC. So its a two edged sword. If you get AOR the letter doesn't matter.

Regarding LMIA, you dont' need LMIA for a closed work permit. If you see the form IMM 5802, it is for Closed work permit exempt from LMIA. More info is here at:

My medical will be done on 26 March my wp will expire on 12 april I already applied for bowp on 10 March it will take 53 to 60 days now my driving license will be also expire on 12 my children school registration will also expire what should I do ?
should I go to boder and show them paper or wait only

If you have all the paper work for a work permit then go to the border. I am sure they will understand if you tell them that you need a valid work permit for your children to keep attending school and decided not to wait for the wp you applied for because of long wait times. Make sure you bring all your documentation and even more just to be safe.

Thanks but I already paid my fees online they will charge me again ? My country is in the list of visa required and my visa will also expired on 12

They will charge you again. If you get the WP at the border contact CIC to withdraw your online application and you should be refunded for the fees you paid online.

Hi guys...Just a quick question about my case...Applied for PR on october 16th,2014.I have a full time job offer letter and my work permit is about to expire on august,2015.What are my chances of extending my work permit..??? My credit card got charged on jan 9th, 2015...But no movement of my file since then....

If you are currently working in Canada you can stay here and keep working on Implied status until you get another work permit. But you will not be allowed to leave the country. If you do your status will change.
