My application was delivered to CIC on 29 oct 2014 and no AOR yet. My IELTS results expired on 10 mar 2015. Do I need to take IELTS exams again?

I dont think so! They will assess your application based on date they received it. I think you should wait they ask for a new IELTS if a new test is necessary...

My credit card got charged on jan 9th, 2015...But no movement of my file since then....

You should get your AOR before August and with that you should be able to get an open work permit. If for some reason you don't get the AOR before August then you should still be able to get at least a closed work permit as long as you are a provincial nominee. There could be a little more to getting the permit without the AOR depending on what province you have the nomination from. I think chances are good you will have the AOR before August and you can't even apply for the open work permit until you have less than 4 months left on your current WP so I wouldn't worry about it too much yet.

If your application was received Oct 16th, you should get AOR soon. OK, let's move from "should" to current situation

1) You won't be able to apply for your WP until April (soon) - 4 months prior to expiry

2) In April if no AOR, you can apply with an expired nomination letter. I'll just include prove of PR application received by CIC - that showed that you mailed your materials last OCtober. CIC peeps including those at the border are aware of the issue with backlogs and will work with you.

You can try calling the PNP office to see if they can give you some kind of support letter for a work permit application. However, I don't think they will even tell you much until your current WP is has less than 3 months left on it. I understand why you want to be prepared for any circumstance well in advance (I am the same way) but sometimes you need to just give some things some time and try believe things will workout.

You said they charged your credit card and if you look at other time lines usually the AOR isn't too far behind that.

Thanks a lot for the info tenkrun 10..Bit relaxed..My Credit Card charged on Jan 9th,2015>does that mean i am not missing any documents for the AOR approval...Please correct if i am wrong...And should i sent my job offer letter also for my closed work permit??
