Hi!

Anyone like me here who got DM last May 7 but still no visa?
I am really worried. It will be one month next week since DM but no email yet from Canadian Embassy. I tried to message them but I got auto reply.


any response is appreciated.

Dm here too last may 10 manila vo.no visa deliver yet..still waiting..hope we got ours by this week..

Sent app in mid July, wife forgot a tax form, sent it in so official receipt of app was October 16. US applicant so Ottawa office.

Sponsor approved first week of January.

Received a documents required email April 8 from CIC, (that I'm starting to think is sort of SOP regarding more proof of relationship), and also requesting a copy of the same tax form my wife sent. Odd, seeing that was a sponsor related form and not part of the sponsoree required info, but, sent it in 3 weeks later so it would have arrived first week of May or so. Along with more proof of relationship (FB screenshots, 2 letters from family, 2 from Canadian friends, an itinerary of my wife visiting me and my family in Virginia end of May, shared credit card proof, life insurance beneficiary proof...wasn't leaving any proof on the table this time)

Started processing May 26, decision made May 28. So now, just waiting on the next step. The whole DM but not what the decision is seems like one more jab in the gut to the whole laborious, anxiety producing process, but it's almost over.

Gratz!!! DM with no call for interview, etc 99% of the time means a positive decision.

22 days since I sent passport to visa office and still haven´t gotten it back.
Im freaking out!!
The person before me got his on the 20th day....
OMG, I can´t wait to be finished with this!!
I´m too anxious checking Ecas and fedex to see if my airbill was activated or not yet, but no luck.
Sad sad and very anxious.

It's so dry and dead over here in October that we're not even on the first page anymore. I had to come in mid page 2 to find us. People already started to land from December and January. I wonder why October and November were skipped.... CIC is pissing me right off >[

From what I've seen the people landing from January are exclusively from the Manila VO, not Ottawa or any other office. It makes me super jealous as a January applicant so I can't imagine what it's like for you guys 3 months back

No, there are a lot of Ottawa applicants too, along with Manila.
