so, did you send you an email, and you got it first, or first you checked your Ecas, you saw In Process, and then you got email? asking just because i don't know if i should check Ecas from time to time to know if anything is happening, or should i simply wait for email, no need to check Ecas at all?

I just got my SA via email . Iam so happy !!! Have been waiting for so long. My application has been transferred to new delhi visa office :) :)

The visa office emailed first to request additional documents. To be honest, I don't bother with ECAS. I'll find out when I find out!

Fabibeach, what kind of pictures did you use to get the PGR certificate? I'm not Mexican but I lived in DF for 2 years and I need police clearance from Mexico. I sent passport-sized pictures to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City but it seems that they want a different kind of format. Any experience with this?

Hi!!! I just came back from PGR.....I don´t know if your case will be different than mine because I am a mexican citizen, so the VO sent me a letter to bring to PGR requesting my police clearance to be done. I had to get two passport pictures, one frontal and the other one in profile facing to the right.
What I can tell you is that when VO will request you to get your police clearance done, they do send you very specific instructions with great detail.
It was easy and took me exactly two hours of my time to get it done.....now I just have to wait 8 days and call to ask if it´s ready.

Hope it helps you.

Thanks for sharing. I was worried about the exact specifications of those pictures, because my VO didn't give me any instructions at all about what was required. I emailed Mexico City and asked them to confirm whether the pics I sent were ok. I hope they are, because I wasn't happy about having to pay $80 to get that stupid envelope sent!

Ohh....I am sorry to hear that, if you sent passport size photos it should be fine. If there´s anything I can do for you or help you in finding any information for you here in Mexico just tell me.

Thank you! It's kind of annoying because it seems that my VO is ready to make a decision and the only thing that's missing is this police certificate. Fingers crossed there wont' be any issues, but I've heard that the PGR can take up to 8 weeks to issue the certificate for applicants who don't live in Mexico.

ECAS changed to In Process today.

Congratulations! :) :)
Don't worry everything will happen really quickly from here on out! :)
Good luck!

MICC is being reasonably prompt with undertaking/CSQ applications. Mine was mailed Feb 9th and was received a day or two later. MICC charged the credit card on the 13th, and issued the CSQ on the 19th.

Hi everyone :)

-I submitted an Outland Sponsorship Application on October 30th, 2014. My boyfriend is from the UK (England), so I assume our abroad processing office should be London. I am from Quebec, Canada.

-CIC made a mistake and had it registered as an inland sponsorship application (so very annoying). (My boyfriend is currently living IN Canada, but we chose outland because processing times were faster and his current visa expires on June 27th, 2015.). I called CIC call centre, who said they would let CPC Mississauga know to switch my application from Inland to Outland.

-1 month later, I received a new AOR and a few days later I received my Sponsor Approval: I assumed the switch had been made.

AOR:

"You have met the eligibility as a Sponsor. Accordingly the Application for PR for your relative has been retained for further processing at CPC Mississauga."

Why has it been retained in Mississauga and not forwarded to London Visa Office?

Do you think it's possible that I'm still registered as Inland?

Or are they waiting to receive my CSQ approval before forwarding it?

Is Mississauga processing Outland Sponsorship applications now?

So many questions! Any help would be appreciated! I wish everyone who sent their own applications the best of luck!

Hi mmartin88 , I remember reading some where that london cases are processed in Mississauga since london is processing cases from other countries like Pakistan.
I could be wrong. Can someone confirm?
