Hi everyone,

Got AOR2 from NDVO!!
So it seems they are sending them out by email.

I got SA on 13/01/2015 and AOR 2 on 02/02/2015- About 18 days after SA.

It came from the following email address so please add it to your contact lists on Gmail so the email doesn't go to spam:

Don't worry Bhkr, you're a few days after me, (my file was transferred on 13/1/15) and I got AOR2 yesterday, so you should get it within the next week or two.

Im worried because Aisha got SA after me she received her AOR2.

Aisha's visa office isnt NDVO.. As you know each visa office is different in their timelines.

We should hear back sometime this week for the AOR2. I am sure our files have been transferred.

I am the principal applicant, my husband is the Sponsor.
Email came in at 9.52am on Monday morning.

We had submitted an application for sponsor my wife and have SA and in the mean while we are hoping to apply for visit visa - we are aware how hard it is and wanna to give a shot Smiley

We had done the online questionnaire to "Find out if you're eligible to apply online" and got the unique number/key - it told us that we will need this to continue the application. We decided we will continue on the application later on and closed the window and now are confused how to get the required document list which was shown at the code page again.

I take it we will need a MyCIC account but can I use mine (logging in through my bank or my id) to check and apply for her visit visa or do we have to create her own GCKey user ID and password and then input the code to get the application.

Thank you and any help is appreciated."

Only logic, not actual facts

So, I would say, you need to make an account for her, as it is her application, not yours. Even with sponsorship, both you and your wife have different UCI numbers, and separate accounts in Ecas. The same with MyCIC, I would suppose.
But as said at the beginning, this are only my thoughts, guessing only.

Hi, ours has been sent to Ottawa as well instead of London. I'm attaching an Ottawa link that exists and I believe there is also a thread called CPP Ottawa or something in this Family Class forum. I've been getting most of my very useful information from the London Outland thread which have been doing average processing times for the offices of London, Mississauga and Ottawa in 2014.

Based on the info gathered on this forum, it appears they are taking 6-7 months to process apps in Ottawa. ie. They seem to be wrapping up June apps now and are already finalizing some July people. We expect to have a DM by April/May - at least are working with that timeline. I'm the sponsor and currently live in the UK so we need to plan a move for 2 of us.

I'll take a look at those other threads and see what I can find. It's frustrating because at this point eCas simply says "application received" and I imagine it'll stay that way until we get the passport request.

Cool! That's my understanding as well re: ECAS. It is always behind what is actually happening with your file and is not a very reliable source of information. Though it is helpful to see they've linked our names, have our correct mailing address and have received our medicals. Basically, since receiving SA, we are just making our plans and waiting for any requests they deem necessary!

We're planning to move around the same time as you, I as the sponsor am going ahead of time but hoping that we can count on the PR coming through by April/May so he can follow me shortly afterward.
