I called CIC to see if maybe, just maybe, they would have good news for me, only because today is my hubby's birthday. I can hope right ;) Nothing, no updates, no activity, nothing... No happy birthday news for the hubby. And the waiting continues :-\

Happy New Years Eve to everyone! Hope you have a fun night celebrating ;D

waiting is the only option.. ::)

Have a Happy New Year everyone :D

happy new year everyone! may the new year bring good news to all :)

Get SA via mail.

Happy new year everyone.

That's great dream congrats, when did you apply

Kicking off the new year with the newest question :)

I am submitting the case specific form and the sponsors section doesn't have a UCI number column but the applicant section does shouldn't it be the opposite?

Is the form inquiring as an applicant ?

Application received oct 16.they sent mail on dec 23.

Happy New Year, I woke up to 2015 with an email sent in the middle of the night from cic.gc.ca (I'd make sure this suffix is deemed non-spam in your email settings) assigning an 8 digit UIC number, an "application number" that started with "F000" (obviously for "Family"), and wording addressed to the sponsor that included
"This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on 2014/10/17 on behalf of the following member(s): [name]"'

I am, of course, disappointed that after 76 days, still no sponsorship approval notice, particularly when this is a far longer time than when I sent the application. If SA appears on Monday, it'll be 80 days to SA for me, so I suggest that people prepare themselves for this sort of timeframe for SA unless they can pick up the pace.

An AOR is great, I hope the SA comes Monday... I have to say, 76 days, OUCH!

CIC should be back to work today ;D I'm crossing my fingers that 1 or 10 of us Oct applicants get an SA or AOR.

Hello everyone and happy new year! I wish the best for us all, may all our immigration process go quick and successfully! I have a question and I hope you can help me. Hubby and I sent our application on Oct 20th, 2014, we already got the SA and a letter saying my application will go to the Mexico office for processing. We applied as common-law, but then we got married, so we want to let Immigration know and send our marriage certificate, the question is, where should we send this update? Should we send it to Mississauga or to Mexico office? Does anybody know?
Thanks and best wishes for 2015.

I believe you would send it to Mexico.

Your SA letter should say exactly where to send it. It should have a mailing address, a web site where you can send messages as well as a fax number. In my case, it's the overseas visa office where the application was sent, I imagine it'd be the same for you. In other words, Mexico.

Hi

Well I received aor on Dec 30th and I sent application on July 11th. CIC requested updated form in Aug it was sent and then I received a email application was complete however on Oct 8th they requested another updated form then Dec 11th another email stating application was complete. So hoping Dec 30 is the per step to SA. I think 6 months is a bit much

Dang, that seems like a crazy long time. I feel like when CIC chooses to find an issue with an application, it's almost the kiss of death for increasing processing times. I hope your SA comes through today or Monday.
