Just wait patiently - I am doing the same.
My biggest fear is what if they didn't get the package, or what if we are missing documents even though I submitted every single thing and I checked it over 100 times before I sent it over.
oh well - we shall find out soon.

I was hoping not to need to call CIC ever. Oh well I hope I get a nice and happy agent.
Majromax said:I have just experienced the same issue, receiving an AOR in e-mail that refers to an in-Canada sponsorship. Unfortunately, at this moment the CIC call centre is hanging up rather than transferring to an agent.

In the real world, you'd come across something like this and you'd be able to speak to someone in charge to ensure that the error is rectified and DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN.
But that's in the real world, where accountability exists...
Majromax said:Okay, I'm off the phone with CIC. Oddly, my application was assigned to the Ottawa office (as it should be, since I currently reside in Canada), so there was no obvious explanation for why I received the inland sponsorship AOR. The nice agent marked the application for a follow-up from CIC, and said that I should call back if I haven't heard by the end of the month.

Just trying to understand; I dont know how it fully works

It deals with US cases and with people who live in Canada for at least 1 year and hold a valid status in canada ( work permit or study permit for example).![]()
