Yes. I have not been working for some months now, and that's weighing me down. I guess the time it would take to resubmit my documents might take a couple of months anyways.
Thanks for your input @andrewbrit. I just hope my application gets processed rather quickly.

It depends on what your ultimate goal is. If you want to receive PR as soon as possible then I recommend waiting it out via outland. If you want to work as soon as possible then it would seem inland could be faster.

It is worth noting that it takes a while to inform CIC that you want to cancel your outland application, receive all documentation back and then reapply inland.

On the Home and statistics sheet you can see some statistics for each visa office (London, Ottawa and Mississauga). Note that this sheet is solely for those who apply through London, but has recently been updated to track those whose applications have been kept in Canada.

When they upadated Imm 0008 they removed question regarding visa office( backhome ) from what i read looks likes its good news for outland applicant . Correct me if im wrong .

What does 'Files being transferred' mean? does that mean you need to send them more stuff? or is your application being transferred to the visa office?

On the spreadsheet it looks like their app was received on 10-1-14. You and I have the same date, I'm going with SA after the New Year. There is no way with as slow as they're going that we'll have it before then. Don't forget to take in to account the Xmas and the new year days holidays.....

Hi all,

I just called as I'm at 56 days. Somewhat frustrating, the agent didn't look into my specific application because she said that they are still working on ones received on Oct 5th and mine was received on the 15th. Since that is the out of date information on the website from Nov 26th, the info on this site is still the best to go by it appears. I will call again before Xmas break if I haven't heard as I forgot to ask what days they will be shut over the holidays!
