Update again:

Yesterday (24th June) my wife had the interview at the CIC Hong Kong. It didn't go so well mostly because, they don't believe my wife knows my background enough, it was "quick" meeting/wedding and I haven't really shared my marriage with close family of mine. I don't see why I have to become the most gregarious person on the planet all of a sudden, I don't call or see family members unless there's a reason--I just don't share or talk much with anybody. I understand the planning part (I feel guilty we didn't plan better) but I never agreed with being someone you aren't just to show CIC that we aren't a "fake" relationship...

Anyways, she was out of the interview relatively quick and they said they will sent us a decision. I don't feel it will be what we want to hear so I'm starting to look up info on how to carried out an Appeal.

That really sucks man. I know from lurking on the spousal appeal thread that when they don't give you a positive answer at the end of the interview it usually means the decision that comes is not a good one. Silver lining is that the vast majority of appeals are approved.

Thank you all for support...

So we did get our refusal letter as anticipated (at least they acted quickly.) They said: (a) was entered into primarily for the purpose of acquiring any status or privilege under the Act; or (b) is not genuine.
Onto the appeal process.

Good news!!! My passport has been shipped back :-) and they attempted to deliver it today. I will be going to pick it up from the post office after work. But I have one question. Does my COPR arrive with my passport? Because I have not received it yet. I received my PPR on 5/26

Thank You :-)

Congrats ashia and Coni.

@Coni: Yes the COPR will be attached to the passport or will be in the envelope. Please do this

Ok thank you so much for your response. I appreciate it.

And how long will they give me to land in Canada?

There have been exceptions, but the typical expiry of the COPR coincides with the medical validity. Based on your timeline, your medicals would probably expire in August.

You can leave, it's getting back in that's tricky. Here are details on returning without a PR card:
