Hi Seniors,
I have a question what is the procedure after getting AOR, I am trying to contact my lawyer, but my lawyer is not helping me , as per my lawyer assessment is done and my application is complete that is why i have received AOR, the only reason to reject would be my work experience if it does not match

Any help in this matter will be really appreciated as i want to know the procedure after you get the AOR

I got the AOR today.

As expected, it's now going to visa office for processing. The processing time currently shows 13 months on CIC website, hopefully that includes the submission to CIO and their assessment.

From the May thread, medicals requests seem to be coming in late October for early May applicants.

swalsh19, check your mailbox. Yours should arrive around now too.

I noticed on trackitt that you applied via the Ottawa office. What circumstances allowed you to apply via there? I like most applied via Sydney.

I applied via Sydney Centralized Intake Office (CIO) too, but they only check applications of various types for completeness and then forward them to appropriate processing centers and/or visa offices. Since my application is now being sent to Ottawa, I changed the trackitt information to Case Processing Pilot - Ottawa (CCP-O) today. One of the questions in the submitted froms was to indicate desired visa office for the processing of the application. I selected CPP-O there. Even if someone mistakenly filled it as Sydney CIO, for all the applications within Canada they will end up in Ottawa either way.

In fact AFAIK, Sydney, NS is not a visa office.

I logged into ECAS, I just needed to put all my names (middle & last) as the last name instead of just my last name.

Last I checked it was application received. I'll check again soon and update when it changes.

Mine still doesn't appear on ECAS, but that's probably pending next update.

Edit: As of Sunday morning it shows that application has been received.

Hiii, i got my visa back yesterday. The payment was taken on Oct 27th and i received on Dec. 7th.
