Its great to see some one whose file under review status, get MR after 12 months...can u tell me why ur file was under review status .Any notes on ur past GCMS ?

They thought that the job I was doing was of a trainee and not actual as per my title.

I sent them a clarification email along with an updated letter from employer

His file was in from 9 Oct it's almost 12.5 months usually they Finalise something
About application by that time

Still waiting here, I was delayed by two months until I got my Police report from Saudi Arabia.

Yeah 45% of people are still waiting for MR, 3 people got rejected one of them is from last week of October.
So it won't be wrong to say that they are generally taking more time for processing applications

I see one MR for feb this week. My friend who applied in feb (not in the forum) also got MR last week.

Are rest of the applications stuck at Review required stage? As I hear it's a blackhole - it's difficult to come out that.

Thanks ! I hope something positive comes out for all of us.

btw, do you always get reply from same visa officer? too many things are going on in my mind now. my gcms from september says nothing started. now i see many jan applicants who applied around the same time as I did get MR and RPRF. Email from ottawa from few days back says my application is still in queue for review by officer. are they telling the truth? is it still in queue? or they have already reviewed it and put for "review required" bucket?

You eventually come out of it ...maximum 14 months. And 3 people already got rejected ..so may be there is more hope for rest of them

Hello October Applicants,

We landed yesterday at Peace Bridge, Fort Erie. The Office just asked for the passport & COPR for all three of us ( spouse and kid) and confirmed the address. She did not ask for anything else. Overall it took 45 min. Thanks so much all you for the moral support through out our PR journey. Others, just hang in there ...you all will get your PR very soon. Wish you all good luck.
