1 year completed today. Still Waiting for a response. Nothing after AOR 8)

12 months and nothing!? I say its time you start buggin your MP and email CPP-O about the status. Unless of course you have recent GCMS that gives you an idea where your app stands...

I went to the MP's office last month and they followed up with CIC and their response was - if I don't hear anything from CIC in another 2 - 4 months, I should come again to check my application status. ???

Took close to 13 months for me to get my MR. MP and GCMS did nothing to accelerate/clarify what was going on.

Stop trying to scare people.

Why is it that there always someone on here who gets defensive...it was merely a suggestion that they bug the MP. Is it going to cost you anything - no. So then whats the problem? Also, where did I say that GCMS will accelerate an application? Calm down buddy!

No one is scarring anyone. It was a suggestion...and one that's worth a shot. Just because it did not work for you, doesn't mean it wont for someone else. Ok, thanks!

PS: -1 for the negativity and attitude...

Tax dollars at work my friend! :P Just keep running GCMS....if your eligibility was in review in July, then hopefully you will have more on this round. At least to the point where its "review required" or "recommend passed" ... best case "everything checks out - no additional info required". Then its just a waiting game.

What did your last notes say? Just in review?

It's really quite easy. You find your MP here:

http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

Give them a call and schedule a visit. Show them everything, including GCMS notes...they'll have you sign some consent forms, then they'll get back to you with a generic answer more likely than not.

There is absolutely no point whatsoever in doing this. You've seen how stressed I was...nothing helped my application along; emails, phone calls, GCMS, MP, lawyer...all you can do is wait. It's not the answer you (or anyone) want to hear, but it's just how it is.

Guys quick questions, I got the RPRF and i have already made the payment.

Should i wait for Medicals and send all the documents in One shot or should i send the reciepts right now and do not wait for medicals to arrive

P.S the reason why i wanted to wait is to send all the documents at once, so they dont get lost if they are bieng sent in different email.

Senior's Pls Advise

The medical will be sent by your doctor, not by yourself. so, they will be sent separately at the end. no need to wait. Congratulations
