I ordered GCMS notes last week but so far have not received anything.
I'm hoping that your right and with the strike over that application processing will pick up momentum and I'll receive MR soon.

Has anyone who is married (includes spouse in application) and applied by or on Oct 19 heard back form immigration. I have not heard back from them and its driving me crazy. It will be a year come Oct 19th and i will be sending them an case inquiry email if i dnt hear from them by then.

Would i be wrong to say singles application seems to be faster than couples application.

Please advice.

Don't let it drive you crazy, that's the timeline, it even says it on the cic website, 13 months (i think now it's 12 months). And that's the average, your case could take longer or shorter.

i also applied as a couple and i havent heard anything either, this wait time is really long... :'(
