The Applicant UCI can be given by the VO at the second stage, but not always - and you don't really need it as you can log in into ecas with File number + applicant information or UCI + sponsor and both will give you the same information.shanmba1174 said:Question About UCI ???
My wife ( Sponsor ) called CIC and got her UCI Number .
When Beneficiary ( Husband) will get his UCI number , after stage 1 approval ???
Please clarify!
Good luck!
congrats! that's probably a letter of approval indeed, if they have not asked you for any additional document it's probably an approval! Welcome to London VO and stage 2... Have you checked your email and spam folder? because even if it says " a letter" it can also be an email and the wording would be the same... so worth checking just in case ( if you get an email, it will still say " a letter has been sent" but you won't receive anything else than the email).rosskilgour said:Just managed to log into ECAS for the first time. It says:
"We received your application to sponsor Ross Thomson Kilgour on October 24, 2012.
We started processing your application on November 16, 2012.
We sent you a letter on November 16, 2012 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
That sounds promising! Perhaps there's a stage 1 approval letter in the post to us? Anyone had a similar experience, or can anyone advise how long it took a letter from CIC to reach the UK?
From the UK to Canada it takes around 10 days, so I would assume the other way round is about the same... (and to confirm - not having an option C is not a problem for sponsorship approval as long as you have included other documents)
You should contact CIC and ask them to change it - try login through ecas and contact the VO through a "case specific enquiry" as it's important to get it corrected.Picturesque said:My name is spelt wrong on the approval letter. What should I do?
Good luck all!
