Hi everyone,

Just an update - it looks like everyone from the August 2012 spreadsheet has now recieved Sponsorship Approval, and all but 4 from September have recieved the same. Average days to recieving AOR is looking great for us October folks, at close to half the time it took for September applicants! Here's hoping the times remain speedy :)

Processing Time Family sponsorship for Person to be sponsored lives outside of Canada :35 days

they usually won't resend for at least 30 days and some sponsors never did get a copy of their approval letter......

no worries about the questions.....give it a bit longer for the medicals to be matched up with your file......you should be seeing something shortly!!! :D

Hi guys

I got my stage 1 AOR today (16 Nov)! I'm so happy and excited, even though it's just a little thing! That's only been 23 days since it was received, I love this new speedy CIC! I hope the London visa office is working similarly quickly.

I'm a bit nervous about stage 1, as my Canadian wife didn't have all her tax documents, as she'd been working in the UK for years. Hope it all goes smoothly, then I think stage 2 should be straightforward.

Good luck all!

Bacontoaster, please will you update my AOR for 16 Nov?

We also recieved AOR late last night :)

Congrats October applicants....awesome news for all those getting speedy AOR's and approvals....... ;D

That's true, I'm from the July thread and I never got an AOR in the mail or an email (although they claim they sent one to me and my sponsor). I went online with the my client ID I had from my old work permit and found out I had gotten approved.

I received my AOR yesterday, and approval this morning :)

Both were via email, and the approval had a formal letter attached to it in PDF form. The email specifically stated that we will not be receiving a copy in the mail as well.

It's moving quickly though! Almost everyone from September has been approved. My hope is that all October applicants are approved by Christmas!
