Done test today
20/20. Test was very easy compared to even many online tests. No dates in my case !

I used this online tests: http://www.citizenshipsupport.ca/
I have pw if someone is interested to use.

Also, interview went smooth and officer just checked PR, DL, and PP.

and officer mentioned 2 to 5 months for Oath.
Good luck!

Hi, Do we have to list absences from canada even before becoming a pr? (i was not a student or never visited canada before).
Depends on the question that you are filling in the form. If the question is asking for the eligibility period (which is 5 years back from the date you apply) then yes.

Anyone writing test in Vancouver tomorow morning ?:)

So I called IRCC today because it has been a month since I've done my FP and was curious if they had received and how long it might take to get the test invite. (BTW my status is not updated with the FP info requested Feb 7 and done Feb 12)

They received and said that there is no test date programmed for London for now and once they have one they will send the invite. I have the feeling that it might take another month or so.

Looks like some offices are faster after FP. Mainly in bigger cities.

FP request date is updated on ECAS.

FP response/RCMP results received date is not update on ECAS for ANYONE. so nothing to worry.

did you happen to find out when they received it ?

Can someone please update the spreadsheet, I got a test invite for April 18th, letter date Mar 8th.

I know it doesn't show in ECAS that they received, but was curious if they did receive it (after all we don't get any information if they do or don't) since this might be a delay factor for the test invite. Moreover, what I was trying to get was what the next step would be and possible date. She informed that next would be the test but with not date for future tests here they aren't able to send me a test invite.

The lady was very pleasant to talk to, but not very informative. Her answers were vague. She wouldn't give any date over the phone. I might only know when they received it if I order the notes. I'm wondering if I should do it now or wait to end of month.

My wife (gokeeper+1) got DM today, please update, thanks! :D
Meanwhile my application still shows IP since 3rd Jan. :(

What pisses me off is that according to Alurra71 CIC is not to blame, and they are doing everything in their power to expedite every application possible! They are the best in the business! They work their asses off to get everything right! And countries in question are the ones which F up the procedure!!!

We all know for facts that it's CIC that F ups all the time every time (so many comments written all over the internet, I don't have to say this but the main reason that this forum exists, is for people to dump their views on how CIC works and ask questions only because the process is not transparent enough), on so many levels too; including their glorious customer service on the phone to their mistakes on applications from PR to Citizenship. Now if you go about and point the blame to other countries, I have to say you are one ignorant human being.

All said, I'm tired of arguing. Ciao.
Hi guys/gals,

I do not want to open the debate again, but it is official that CIC/CSIS has targeted Iranians. Here is what former NDP leader Tom Mulcair (and the former leader of the oposition) has said about this.

Tom Mulcair, Member of Parliament for the NDP, said it's been an ongoing issue for years.

"We have hundreds of cases across Canada.… There's no question that the treatment of the Iranians, who have been duly selected, who have the highest level of expertise and who we want in this country, are in a situation that is completely different from everyone else,"

This is true. There was no doubt about it.
