Almost in the same boat. My AOR was received on Dec 28th. I do not know what to do or what to expect

Have you looked at the spreadsheet? You received your AOR in the middle of the holiday period. Anyone with applications open over this time is more likely to experience delays because people take vacations etc. If you've got your AOR then it means your file is entered in to the system. All is good

My family application was received October 19.
AOR: November 23
IP: November 30
Test invitation: January 22
Edmonton.
Test: February 15
Family of two adults and 2 Juniors.
The invitation was sent yesterday through email and today it appeared on the system.

According to me, my staus is decision made. It was on January 23 the second day after my test.

Good luck every one.
Do you have 2 applications in process. In one of your older posts you mentioned your test date is Jan 22. Also, your timeline in spreadsheet is bit different that you posted today, so I was wondering.

In Process - Jan 24, Please update the spreadsheet for me.

Hello, I got my notice to appear for a test on the 20th of February. Can you update the spreadsheet please?

App delivered on 25 Oct and I’m waiting for AOR too. It’s got beyond frustrating at this point. With regards to reapplying, do I just use the old receipt? That one is more than 100 days old so i’m concerned that if I use that to re-apply they’ll just return my application by saying that the receipt is expired (I believe it expires 90 days after payment). So do I cough up another $600 or so and make another payment to reapply? If so, would the refund the amount I paid for the original application?

Don’t get me wrong, but I’m all in just for the passport and explore better opportunities. It still doesn’t warrant the lack of fairness demonstrated by IRCC

Even as a PR or international student, I never had to provide my fingerprints to Canadian authorities. I was totally expecting to get an FP request this time, but haven't got one yet.
Yup, it was Finger Print request. Got the mail today, did it today.

I got a test notice on Ecas on Jan 24th and the test is on Feb 15.

However, I already had travel plans from Feb 13 - 19. I called the call centre and they said that I can either send a webform or mail the processing office with proof as to why I can't attend. But, it will be entirely upto the processing office whether they accept this or not. I am worried about the risks if they don't accept travel as a valid reason. I requested the call centre to send me an email with the instructions on rescheduling and this is what they sent me:

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. As discussed, you will find below complementary information to our conversation:

Missed citizenship exam or interview

If you have missed or you cannot attend the citizenship exam or interview, rest assured that we may be able to reschedule you.

To do so, please send the following information to the responsible office within 30 days from the date of your appointment:

  • A reasonable explanation, and
  • Proof to support your explanation.
You can send your explanation either by:

  • Using the IRCC Web form, or
  • Mail using the mailing address indicated on the letter you received,
    • if you did not receive a letter, you may find the address of the office on our website.
Important facts to keep in mind

Your application may be considered abandoned if:

  • Once the 30-day period has elapsed, no response has been provided, or
  • An acceptable explanation was not provided.
For more information, we invite you to consult:

If you click on the "procedures for abandonment" link, you will see that even if they did not accept the explanation provided, they will still send a final notice.

Have any of you gone through the exercise? If yes, how long was your application delayed for? Also, the call centre informed that my application is being handled by the Mississauga office despite me living in North York.
