At what time you completed landing ,was there rush of tourists at that time??

Also for pedestrian way ,do we have to go from Duty free shop?? as from google map its not clear.

Basically, I did flagpole, Behind Duty free shop there is sign board – Pedestrian entrance to the USA- just follow that
Went to US side in afternoon there were 10-12 people ahead me in the queue, who were Americans came by Walk to see Niagara, US Officer shouts loudly NEXT , when your number comes, I went inside the immigration area and told I am here for flagpole. He told me in large voice, okay- go and seat there on chairs I have let first Americans in, who are behind you. Waited for 30 min and he called me again and gave white paper of Administrative Refusal and said you are all set and told me go out from the same door where you came in after that came back to Canada and the office was empty no one in the line - took 15 min altogether then officially I became a PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA
Cheers

Congrats Omshri, you made it. All the best.

So happy to hear about all the landing stories :)

UPDATE Re: Medical Furtherance: I went to the panel physician with the furtherance letter. He advised that the doctors in Ottawa needed clarification as to the abdominal mass he found when he did the physical exam. I am mildly relieved that it is not something more serious as I already know from a few years back that I have Fibroid (benign uterine tumors that like 70% of women have and in most cases cause NO medical problems). I just hope I am not the exception to that because you know, I always worry. I have an ultrasound scheduled in the next few days to confirm.

Thanks for all who responded and/or privately messaged me with words of encouragement. You guys are really awesome.

Any update on PPR for fellow Oct 2013 applicants? ::)

I am still waiting. Decision made on July 15. Should get another set of GCMS notes on August 21. Lets see what that says.

Your Passport StatusVisa application, tracking ID No.************has been received by the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 23/07/2014 and its under process.

Got my GCMS notes. Got the dates mixed up, thought I was getting them on Aug 21 but actually it was Aug 12 :)

Everything says passed, and final approved. There is mention of file being at CPC-Ottawa for PR printing and COPR. Looks like it is done. Now have to wait until they get around to it.

GCMS is quite good actually except for the fact that you have to wait for 30 days. Gives you a lot details how your file is moving and also whether they have sent/received emails.
