WOW!!! Finally you got it. Congratulations !!!!
Hopefully, I may get it after long weekend as you said. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with your next step.

I will let you know once I get the "Ready for visa mail....(hopefully)".

OK guys,

I just received a mail today to my home address for further medical tests. Will call the doctor tomorrow.

For people who are still waiting, watch out for your home address / mailing address / your email / spams / representative address and email!

Cause you never know how they are going to contact you. Honestly it was all email communications and I would have never thought they will send me a letter to my home address, specially when I have a mailing address which is different.

Best of luck to everybody.

I heard that the only thing that CIC sends in mail is the request for additional medical exam.

Can you share with us when the letter was issued and when did you receive it?

The letter was issued on June 12th and I got it today, I was away for 12 days from June 11th. And after that I was away at my friend's, just got back home today and saw it in my mails. So I'm guessing maybe it was delivered sometime last week?!!

BTW the results were uploaded on May 16th.

It's not mentioned. They just asked me to get to a panel physician again. They have mentioned that what needs to be done is updated on my file so the doc will know.

I'm guessing it's a eGFR test, since I had some blood cells in my urine last time. The doc said the xray and blood test was alright but CIC might ask me for another test because of my urine. So here I am ready for another test.

So we'll see! I'll keep you guys posted.

Wish me luck.

Back after a long time on this forum. After doing a lot of catch-up (>50 pages) :) I see that many have received their PPRs and most among them have completed their landing. Congratulations to all who have and the very best to those waiting in line.

Here are my updates:

Hi, I applied in Canada and returned back to India. I have been requested to produce PCC by June 30th. But looks like it will take some to get PCC from India. If I don't submit by that date, is there any possibility of getting my application rejected?. Is there any way to extend the date?. Please help me.

@ Rajsri

You can reply to their email letting them know that procuring a PCC could take longer and if required you make request for extension as an exception.

For my wife's PCC, I had done the same stating that I might need more than 60 days as the earliest appointment available for getting a PCC at my passport office was more than a month away. I received a reply mentioning that when the 60 day deadine neared, I let them know that I needed an extension and they will grant me one.

P.S. If availability of an early appointment for PCC seems to be the reason why you are worried about getting the PCC in time, then you may check if your passport office allows for walk-ins for PCC applications. Mine did and that is how I got it well in time.
