Purolator has been garbage in my experience, which is why I want to know if we can choose a different carrier or ship it ourselves and pick it up from their office.

They should not be allowed to force us to buy service we dont want. Bls is open for appointment walk in since 22 march. I wish i tried harder to make an apppointment

Try calling bls and ask them if u can make an appointment under “visa” and drop off your application. It is worth it.

I didnt try but call bls and ask them if u can make appointment under “visa” and drop off ur application. Its worth trying cuz purolator is ruining people already hit by pandemic

Pretty sure BLS is getting their cut from purolator as they try very hard to make you buy that

Been looking at it for over a week. Always shows slots full and no new slots beyond June 30 are opening up.

YEs booking a slot its difficult i booked on April 1st for appointment on 18th May. But had to check everyday.

Hello Everyone, BLS Brampton returned the OCI and Passport surrender applications of my wife and 2 kids (total 3 application sets) last week as the Draft amount was not correct. This is the 2nd time they are returning it. First time they returned it as the Passport expiry date in my daughter's OCI application was incorrect. Now, its been a week since I dropped off the package at the Purolator location in Scarborough and its not yet delivered back to BLS.
Looks like Purolator has lost the package with all the Original Indian passports, Bank drafts & Applications. They have assigned a tracing specialist who sent an email with the case number. That's it, no other response. This wouldn't be the case if BLS had reviewed the applications carefully so that it was not sent back 2nd time. Have anyone encountered this issue with Purolator/BLS before? what are the chances of retrieving the package?

Someone- Please help! Just want to clarify - I am applying through Toronto Jurisdiction Online it says to submit the bank draft for $345($341+ Consular Surcharge: $4 Total: $345 ) + Processing Fee: $7.4+ Courier fee. Where do I pay the processing fee? Do I go to the bank to create another draft for the $7.4 addressed to BLS International Services Canada Inc?

Also, over here this person (sydcarton)
says they paid $425 https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/oci-process.254662/page-160 - so why is mine different at $345? Just want to make sure my application doesn't get rejected

Amount was changed from 1st April 2021.

I submitted my application in February 2021. They have changed the fees since then so refer to the BLS website for updated fees.

Guys, need your advice.. applying OCI for my 1.5 years old son at HCI ottawa. He is US citizen and Canadian PR with IRCC landing paper/confirmation... currently awaiting PR card.. BLS is saying that PR card is required to prove his PR status in Canada... I am not able to understand why PR card is only way to prove PR status? I have PR landing paper, Quebec (CSQ), RAMQ health Card for Quebec... shouldn't this be enough to prove that he is a PR?
