Applied for OCI at BLS Gillingham - Pickup	12 FEB 2025
Processing at consulate to Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping	23 MAR 2025
Passport Ready for collection after OCI Stamping	24 MAR 2025

Application status remained processing at consulate for the entire duration, so did not see all the different status that people see with delivery but that’ fine, paid just 7 dollars some cents to bls for all 3 oci applications in total was very careful to not get trapped in their loot this time. Happy to answer queries or questions around it, if required to help others.

Once you have submitted the form at BLS you should not create a new one..
We had re-upload the photo after submitting the application.
You need to upload the photo's using OCI Image Upload/ Re-upload option only.

What is the OCI processing & delivery timelines for Toronto applications nowadays? My date of acknowledgement is 20 Feb 2025. Anyone around this date received their OCI?

My date of acknowledgement is March 1, 2025 for Toronto Jurisdiction. My OCI is dispatched on March 25, 2025. Still waiting on the delivery. What about you @ashishleo? Your date of Acknowledgement was a week ahead of mine. Also I had 3 applications and I am having them delivered by Purolator.

In the OCI application form, it asks for a “previous passport number.” I’ve heard various answers some say it should be the last Indian passport no, Meanwhile, some people say they left it blank.

What is the correct approach at this time? Should I enter my Indian passport number in the “previous passport” field or leave it blank?

Assuming you are applying OCI for first time, then it should be left blank.

How long does it take for the OCI portal to show Date of Acknowledgement? I have applied for my minor OCI in Toronto (Walk in) on March 21, it went to "Processing at Consulate" on March 24 but still OCI portal shows "No Records Found".

My BLS tracker has changed to (Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping).

When should I expect the delivery now and will the tracker information change after this on BLS website that I should be aware about ?

Mission: Toronto and it was a postal application.

If the signatures are different on the Indian passport and Canadian passport, will the Canadian passport signature work on all Canadian documents for self-attestation? For the Indian passport can I do both signatures on the Indian passport copy?

OCI status inquiry says "no record found". Someone please advise the current timeline how long does it take to update the Date of ACK in the status inquiry portal?

For a postal application in Toronto, I know that two separate demand drafts need to be taken. How much is the fee to be paid? How much should the demand draft be for the Consulate General and for BLS International?
