OCI process

Hello,

I submitted my walkin application at BLS Surrey last week of November and now if shows as "Processing at consulate general" if I check status on BLS.

If I lookup on OCI website it still shows UNDER PROCESS.
Date of Acknowledgement: 1 December 2023

Anyone else in same boat as me?

Hey everyone, i just paid for purolator pick up and drop off and address on that one show for BLS is in 201-8140 120th street but if you go oh their page it show new address to courier your documents. Anyone faced similar problem?

No idea . They recently moved to new location but don’t know why they are still creating Purolator label under old address. Looks like it’s not safe to send as this may result in loosing application.

For minor OCI application do i have to upload signature?
If yes than Whose signature?

Im with the same date as yours. Should have it in the next 2 weeks i think.

Where do you track OCI status other than BLS? I don’t see any records for my passport number and file reference if I go to OCI Government website. Only see Processing at Consulate General on BLS since 18 Jan.

Hi there! I am finalizing my application to handover to postal services tomorrow for Brampton location. Can somebody answer the following questions?

1) Who should attest the spouse passport copy for postal application? and Do we need to attest the printed application pages as well?
2) What place do we need to fill in the application declaration page? specifically page number 4. Is it the BLS location or the place where you live?
3) Does the photo need to be pasted to the printed application or just send it in the postal envelope?
4) Do we need to send the marriage certificate and spouse's citizenship certificate in the postal application ?
5) If the application is sent back by BLS for any incorrection, can we submit the application again in-person or will it always be postal?

Does anyone know how long is it going to take for the document to be received at Ottawa BLS and after that how long before its ready for dispatch?

as per the trend in tracker, it will take approximately 15 days to receive in hand

it will take 20-25 days to show up in oci portal ie https://ociservices.gov.in/statusEnqury

until then u will only see the bls status. check after 20-25 days from ur application date

I just saw that it’s updated on bls website that my OCI application is under process but I still don’t see anything on OCI website.It says no records found.Before my application date was Jan 26 now it got changed to Jan 30.Why is it so?
