You should have it by mid of next week.

Guys...I have a question and would like to get your thoughts on this:
I submitted my passport surrender application (along with my child's application as well) in Toronto BLS office a month back . I opted for the courier service and I received my surrender certificate in a week's time however I did not receive my child's certificate. The status shows as "Ready for collection" since the last 2 weeks but it has not been delivered. Do I have to go and pick it up from Toronto BLS office? It's weird because I have opted for courier service but why does it show "Ready for Collection" in that case.
Any input is much appreciated.

Call BLS and check. Could be a mistake on their part to mark it for collection instead of dispatch. If you have time you can go between 3-4.30 pm and collect it. That would be faster.

Thank you for your reply.
I called and the agent on the phone said that he could see courier charge receipt attached to my application but not for my child's and that is why it has not been dispatched yet. Though we submit both the applications during the same time to the same address do we have to pay 2 different courier charges...?Surprising...

tbh, i booked it a few months ago with only my name as my wife was still waiting for her citizenship, however, now she has received her citizenship and i was thinking of sending two applications in one purolator
do you think it will work ?

Yes you need to pay for 2 as it's two different envelopes. Go and collect it. 3-4.30 pm is collection time.

Sending works but you need to pay separately for receiving the OCI card.
