For postal application do we need to take 2 DD's :

C$ 345 The Consulate General of India, Toronto
C$ 7.4 BLS International Services Canada Inc

OR

ONE single DD on " BLS International Services Canada Inc" - $ 352.40

What is Ack date?
For me it's showing processing at consulate.. will if change to ACK after this or was it before that status?

@Saps - So you are saying, you approached the port of entry with a e-visa (and your OCI was approved but you did not get the booklet in hand before boarding your flight), and at the port, the officer saw in the system that there was an OCI approved against your name and allowed you to enter without even looking at the evisa and let you enter based on the OCI number in the system (and not even having the booklet in hand to produce to the officer)? Could you please clarify?

Yes. 5 days before boarding, OCI was still not in hand, so applied for e-VISA... Boarded flight with eVisa.
At India, port of entry, they let me pass without even checking my eVisa saying OCI is showing up in their system and that was sufficient. I did tell them, i had not received OCI card, hence could not carry it with me. The immigration officer wasnt bothered by it.
This was back in 2018.

my flight ticket is booked for Nov 28th.

Ack date is Oct 18

strangely after spending lot of time on phone to talk to BLS, one guy told me (friday evening) that i will get in 4-5 business days.
but status is still 'under process; in OCI website.
so, not sure if he just told me to end the call and make me happy.. lol

Processing time has slowed down. Oct 7 is currently getting processed. So getting in 4-5 days looks tough.
