@Hemusharma51 Actually I misspoke. Your OCI application date looks too late to meet Nov 17 travel date. Or do I have your dates wrong?

Hello Everyone!
I am submitting the Passport Surrender Application for 2 Adults (myself and spouse) and 1 Kid.
I wanted to know if I can submit ALL the three applications just by myself (on their behalf) at BLS? or Is it mandatory for all the 3 applicants to be present at the BLS Center?
Same question for OCI too.

I will ask tomorrow by calling BLS. I do not know how much time it will take but i read on consulate website that this visa will process within 2 weeks after reaching to Consulate office
Interesting that consulate's website says it will be processed within 2 weeks of them receiving it.. so essentially, if one were to go and apply in person at BLS, the end to end process could potentially be over within 2.5-3 weeks?
if you get to talk to BLS agent, let us know what they say..
I shouldn't have written that as its not correct. Nov 17 looks impossible to meet as you are yet to get Ack.
Yes, that's what Toronto consulate site has, but a lot of info in there are outdated. So try to call up the consulate. BLS agents are often not very knowledgeable.

For everyone who got “Counter Delivery to BLS after OCI stamping” few days after application. I called BLS and this is what the agent said- BLS has a counter inside consulate so basically it was scanned from your local BLS to the BLS counter inside consulate. It really didn’t make sense to me. My status is still “under process” on OCI website since it was acknowledged on Oct 18th. i asked the guy since he was friendly that if I will be able to get it before Nov 24th and he said “ho jayega”.
That's what I meant. You do not have Ack yet. Even if you get Ack on 27th, OCI will get processed only on Nov 17 at earliest which is too late.
Ack Oct 16th for OCI any ideas when can expect it ? Travel plan safe for Dec - 15 ? Family application for 3
@Hemusharma51 when you call BLS tomorrow, can you ask a couple of more questions pls:
1. In case someone's surrender application is in process, is there anything that can be submitted as a proof for it and get entry visa processed?
2. In case a minor is born in Canada (parents are of Indian origin and held Indian passports before), the checklist says that 'Statement of Live Birth' is required for the minor.. can a birth certificate not work instead?
3. Processing time, as we were talking about before
