Looks quite tight, here's my tlimeline (applied in person at BLS Ottawa on 16-Aug, still waiting for documents to be received at HCI, BLS just shows 'Processing at High Commission')

One question:
When we apply for OCI( either postal or In person) We will send Original Canadian PP and it will be with them till the OCI is approved and returned.
Its taking like months now a days. And we will be without passport for that long?
