Yup, only 1 photo for surrender.
I did OCI submission on Saturday, but had an appointment. Walkins, reach at least 1 hour before the office opens.. there will be a long queue.
Thanks, I just wish this process was less complicated, and I hope India starts allowing dual citizenship in future. this is all just a waste of time and money.
that wont happen.. revenue generation is key.. as a foreigner you start paying more for everything in India.. example - don’t know how will they monitor, but try visiting Taj Mahal and you will pay INr 1000 as a Canadian vs INR 100 that a resident pays..
With due respect, Indian government did not ask you (or anyone as well) to apply for OCI. It was your (that is, applicant's) choice. These things are all "take it or leave it" type. And this is same with all countries and territories.
It can be frustrating at times. But that's how it is. Can't do much, really.

I self attested only the ones I submitted to BLS.. Not the ones I uploaded

It says:

Lol. Now I indeed was surprised yesterday by this one extra $5 slip they stapled to our main $353 ones. I did not worry too much about it then, as I had just saved $66 by opting for self pickup and successfully rejecting Purolator.
Now I realize that I actually could save $61 only.
Haha! So BLS still having the last $5 laugh! Well played BLS.
